Help on Google Drive sync

   I am receiving a permissions error when I write locally and then upload to google docs.
   Basically, it states You have no permission rights to change file: Test google docs.txt, access denied.
   See below.

   I am seeing this same error, across all 3 of my users. From my log file, it started yesterday 5/23 at approx 12:30pm (not sure what timezone).

   I don't know why the server is giving you access denied on this certain file, when you do have rights to it.

   I am having the same problem. Some of my files copy, others don't. As far as I can tell, there is no difference in security permissions - they all reside within the Google Docs folder on my local system. I don't think it's a Google Docs issue, as I can upload the files without issue using the browser.

   We're seeing more of these errors from Google in the last few days.
   "The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden."

   We're busy working on trying to figure out what the cause is.

   FYI...I reset my SyncDocs settings back to their default values (using the 'Default Values' button on the Advanced tab). I am no longer getting the "access denied" error, but it has been replaced by what seems to be an equally critical error:

   This error is being logged for many, if not all, files that I'm syncing, and the result is that the files are not synced at all.

    Same problems here. Reported across two users. Files copied into my local PC Google directory don't get copied to Google Docs (at this point they're all JPGs) although the directory structure *does* get built in Google Docs. I get the PERMISSIONS error for each of around 2000 files. No one else is accessing the files.

    I'm on a paid-for Google Apps domain (it's a "standard" account -- not premium or education).

    I noticed this a couple of days ago.

    P.S. Can you identify where we should see this message from Google in your instructions on the other Forum page? ("2. read the new terms of service "Important changes to your Account" message from Google."

    I'd be happy to accept it, but I have logged in directly to my Google Docs page and I don't see any notice or link anywhere.

    I even clicked on the footer in "Documents Settings" that includes a references to the "Terms" of Service (http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/terms/user_terms.html). This appears to be a public page (does require logging in, and my ID is not shown up top), and indeed there's no link or "Accept" button any where.

    Still getting "access denied" errors. I have logged out and logged back into Google Docs, there is no request to accept new T's and C's. I have restarted SyncDocs. Still DITW.

    FYI...here is the initial authentication error that SyncDocs reports when trying to login to Google Docs. Seems like the "Invalid URI: The URI is empty" may be indicating some specific error that can be tracked down? (btw, you can also see that I have a premium account w/ Google)

    Same here. I logged out of Google Docs, shutdown Syncdocs, but am still getting the permissions error. It seems to work in the beginning, but then starts to fail. Also, no agreement for me to accept when I log in. For what it's worth, I use Google Apps, Standard Edition.

    We think we've tracked down the cause of this permissions issue with the new Google Docs update.
