This utility has promise, but I have a few frustrating issues with it. I've read the FAQ and forum but haven't found much to match...
1. I sometimes end up with many duplicate items of a file inside GD (but not locally). I have specifically noticed this when I have filename.doc and filename.docx, or filename.xls and filename.xlsx - the docx or xlsx is duplicated. In the instance I'm looking at now, GD reports over 30 copies of the same docx file! Some of these files also drop their folder/Collection tag, but not always.
2. Some files randomly get get dumped in the root of my sync folder locally (but not on GD I think), even though they still exist in the local folder/Collection they are meant to be in. I can delete them from the root local folder, then they usually, but not always, return.
3. Some folders randomly re-sync the entire contents for no reason. This morning right before my eyes, a folder and every file in it vanished locally, then re-appeared a few minutes later, I assume after re-syncing.
4. I've also had some sub-folders of a folder in root appear in the root itself, and also still be a subfolder! (if that makes sense). This has resulted in entire folders/files duplicating in GD....
