The error goes on to check for loops in my folder structure.
What is a loop in my folder structure??

It seems you have the same problem as: http://www.syncdocs.com/forums/topic.php?id=121#post-553
Google sometimes says the parent folder is in its own child folder.
You can try the 64bit version to get more memory:
http://www.syncdocs.com/downloads/SyncdocsPortableInstaller64.exe
Hmmmm... not much help in my case. I don't have the 64 bit version of Windows.
I'm pretty much dead in the water at this point. It does it every time. May I recommend a feature telling me *where* the loop is in my Google folders?
I'm pretty befuddled how a situation could even arise as I have only sync'd *up* to Google. I haven't even edited these documents online, only backed them up from my computer
Better yet, as everything stops at this point, what would be the harm in having a setting in syncdocs to *ignore*, or *not sync* folders that contain themselves? You can't be expected to support or carry forward a Google error
FYI it also gives this uncaught exception. It might be a good idea to try and trap it.:
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.
For example:
<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>
When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
Thanks for the log, its useful
For what its worth, after a few days playing with it, I notice that it does indeed sync any new files that I have (of the folders I have tested).
It appears that wherever this memory error happens, it is after it uploads my newest documents.
I do have a feature request. It would be nice that after it has this out of memory error, that it doesn't spend eternity telling me that its "recovering".
OK, thanks, we'll fix that "recovering", and also the erroneous loop detection.
We're working on improving the speed of the core engine, as well as reducing the memory usage.
The maximum memory is about 4x what it was, so the out of memory errors should be gone (until you hit 600,000 files on a 32bit system)
Syncdocs now tells you the progress status, so it doesn't look like its hanging.
Awesome. Thanks. Verified that 0.56 fixes this.
Great. Thanks for the feedback!
How many files are you syncing now?
