Hiya,
So I just installed syncdocs on a new computer (existing license though) and unchecked the option to associate files with google docs... except that everything is set to open as 'syncdocs' which opens a browser and shows the file in google docs :/
The icons have also changed from word icons to sync docs icon which is not good.
What's happened here?

Syncdocs
Hi,
File associations are set per user on Windows. What might have happened is that Syncdocs was installed under an Administrator account, but it now running as a different user.
To fix this try the following:
- exit Syncdocs and re-run it "As Administrator"
- in the first (General) settings tab check "Make Google Docs my default Office suite"
- click on OK
- then, click on preferences again and unclick the same option (""Make Google Docs my default Office suite")
- click on OK, and your old file associations (to Microsoft Office) should return.
