Given I now have a separate Google drive folder that contains all the Gdocs files syncdocs uploaded automatically, seems I have no use for this "Google docs" folder with all the duplicate and extra files I do not need on my puter.
Any realistic thoughts?
How do I prevent a new google docs folder from being created once I eliminate the one I have?

If ya folks don't know what folder GDrive points to, uh, excuse me >>> Burp! No Offense, but Geeze!? with OMG! I can also be wrong, Diligent (Jim).

Hi Diligent,
I'm not too sure what you want to do. Google Docs and Google Drive are the same Google products and contain the same data. If you delete the synced files they will be deleted on Google.
If you want to run Syncdocs and the Google Drive client at the same time, point Syncdocs to the Google Drive folder. Note that this is not recommended, as Google Drive does not support syncing of folders outside its own folder.

Phil, I still get new and multiple files added to my syncdocs "My Google docs" files and google chrome.
I am still trying to eliminate this unneeded removal time expense >>> being its continual and really a large pain in the "***" butt (medical term).
You know something though! While I have not seen a syncdocs absolutely complete written step by step information guide of what happens to a file beginning from the e.g. "my documents" inception of its creation then throughout the syncdocs automatic process(es), that would be a great help!!! If I missed this guide please inform me, Thanks.
And please, I will not bother you guys over trivial matters, (much anyhow). What I am talking about is a system performance-ease break-down. Sorry (well not)for the blunt!
My bet is that this will draw new customers to syncdocs, which I say from my near 40 years marketing formal education and implemented sales experience.
Good can come from bad, whether slight or great bad.

Hi Diligent,
If you want to, you can change Syncdocs to sync your My Google Drive folder. You change this by right clicking on the Syncdocs taskbar icon, and then changing the "Syncdocs Google Docs folder main location" folder to your Google Drive.
Note that you should have a good reason for running both Syncdocs and the Google client at the same time as both will sync concurrently to the Google Drive server. You may see duplicate results, so it is not recommended.

so it is NOT advisable to run both syncdocs and drive on the same computer? I use syncdocs to sync a folder outside my drive folder. In this case running both is causing changed files to be uploaded from the syncdocs folder to google drive, then downloaded to the local google drive folder, correct? So can I just remove google drive from this computer using control panel / add remove programs? Then just run syncdocs alone.
(this sounds confusing... hope it makes some sense.)

@kmoffat: The short answer is yes, you only need Syncdocs, you can uninstall Google Drive
If you run both Syncdocs and Google Drive, then you will get a double sync. In your case, if you still need Google Drive for some reason, you can tell Syncdocs not to Sync the Google Drive folder. However, running one sync app instead of two will probably cause you fewer headaches.

Uhh, well!! there are multiple double sync's that I do do want that exist in syncdocs.
Google drive should be allowed to work with just(solely) the original my documents data but I cannot get a straight answer relative to this delima from syncdocs personnel
No personal offense intended, but I am offended by not receiving accurate responses.

Got a refund by Syncdocs.... pity; I liked this product however without working as expected and with no support to seriously try to solve problems I gave up. I almost felt guilty, but now I see I wasn't alone with my ideas.
I will keep following this tool and will give it a try in the future when it will act as working properly and with better support.
