Can't Upload Any Files

Although SyncDocs downloads files from Google Docs to my local computer, I have yet to been able to sync documents from my computer to Google.

When I put two documents in my local folder, I am getting the following error in the SyncDocs error log:

I am able to upload files successfully through the Google Docs UI. Also, if I create a subfolder inside my shared local folder, SyncDocs creates that folder on Google Docs, but it remains empty because none of my files will upload.

My account is a limited (free) Google Apps type account. I have also tried with a personal GMail Account and I got the same error.

Hi,

This may be related to:

We are not sure why the Google server is rejecting your upload, but are looking into it.

Please add some other files to this folder and see if it happens with all of them.

Yes, it may be related. SyncDocs does not enter into a loop for me. It takes about 10 seconds to "sync" but nothing gets uploaded, and there is an error in the log for every file I try to upload. I have tried to upload about 20 different files, including some office files (.doc, .xls, .xlsx) and some others.

Also, I have tried disabled Windows Firewall and tried rebooting.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help debug.

I just logged back into my gmail account and now SyncDocs is able to upload the files to this account. SyncDocs call this account a "standard Google user type account" whereas the other one is a free Apps account. Perhaps you are not allowed to upload files to the free Apps account, or maybe there is a problem with having multiple accounts logged on at the same time on my machine.

Are users normally able to upload files through SyncDocs to a free Apps account?

Yes, free apps accounts should work the same as free gmail accounts. You should be able to upload files.

We have had issues with new free apps accounts, taking a while (24-48hrs) to be fully activated by Google, but I don't think this is your issue, as you can upload via the UI.

You can try logging out of all your open accounts, and then logging in to the one you want to use with Syncdocs.
