The same folder is shown here on my desktop on the left, and online on the right. As you can see one folder, and several files are missing: https://www.dropbox.com/s/a5kphrori2l594q/missing%20files.JPG
Any clue why some files have synced and some have not?
This folder is selected in "selective sync preferences" to sync, and Syncdocs says that the sync is complete.

Thanks for the picture. I see that these are all files that have been shared with you.
Check that the option to "Sync new files and folders shared to me by others" is enabled. You can find it in the Preferences menu, in the Folder tab, the "Select..." button.

Ah, okay. I had unchecked the "sync new files and folders shared to me by others" box because it seemed like Syncdocs was automatically downloading all of the files shared with me to my desktop, but maybe that's not the case. It had seemed like I selected only the files I wanted it to sync that were shared with me, but then it downloaded all the files that were shared with me.
But, I am running Syncdocs on a few different computers, so maybe I just got mixed up and forgot to deselect the "shared with me" files I didn't want downloaded to my desktop on one computer.

Ok, I selected "sync new files and folders shared to me by others", syncdocs did a sync, and now (I think) I have all these random folders on my desktop: http://screencast.com/t/BKbsgwfps The folders that 'should' be on my desktop (are selected preferences) starred. As for the rest of the folders, I'm not sure why they are there.
