We've just finished testing and have released version 5.80 of Syncdocs.
This is a maintenance release. The main reason for this release is to be compatible with upcoming Google URL and server location changes. The next major release of Syncdocs (version 6) will be out beta in late October. It contains many new features, will be faster and use less memory on 32bit systems.
One changed feature in version 5.80 is that the Syncdocs folders (Direct Uploads, Public Share and Originals Backup) are now optional. They can be turned off in the Folders tab of the preferences. Here is more info on how to turn these folders on and off.
How to Update
The upgrade is free and will happen automatically. The old Syncdocs version should ask if you want to update automatically in the next few days.
To update now, right click on the Syncdocs taskbar icon, go to Preferences -> Advanced -> “Check for Updates”
You can also download the new version and install it over the old one.
We'll be releasing updated 64bit and portable USB stick version 5.80 in the next few days.
