I've installed SyncDocs on several computers and never had any issues, but on this computer, I installed it, got to point where it opens a Google Drive "Request for Permission" window and the first time it displayed properly. I entered the Google Drive email and password - mistyped the password the first time, entered it correctly, and then the window just hung and didn't change or go back to the SyncDocs configuration. I closed it with the X button, tried rerunning the SyncDocs config, got to the same "Request for Permission" window, but now it's blank. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, uninstalling then rebooting then reinstalling, but no matter what I do, now that window is always blank. I even tried installing Google Drive Sync app (without configuring it) but no change. I also used the msiexec /a switch to install it but still no change. OS is Windows Server 2012 R2 Foundation. I am new to Syncdoc, but as I was testing it I discovered preferences are persistent betweeen uninstallations/reinstallations.
Maybe your config file is damaged or something. Try to delete it. On Windows 8.1 I found it on %appdata%\Roaming\Syncdocs.
Hope it helps.
Thanks for the reply - I actually was able to find the issue and resolve it. Since it's a Windows Server, and IE is locked down by default, I found that adding *.google.com and *.gstatic.com to the trusted sites and lowering the trusted sites security level to low allowed it to work.
Glad to hear you solved you problem. Remember to add *.1e100.net, because that is the domain that google uses for a lot of services too. I am monitoring Syndocs and Drive web client connections and when uploading a file, they are stablished to *.1e100.net.
1e100.net is a legitimate Google domain (https://support.google.com/faqs/answer/174717?hl=en)
