Mike - We have an alpha version for Google Spreadsheets and hope to release it soon. We are also working on a port of CipherDocs to Chrome.

@htewari: What you're doing looks great! Please contact us either on this forum or at [email protected], we'd like Syncdocs to be compatible with your encrypted Google Document format

Hello,

Any plans for a CipherDocs extension for Google Chrome?

Andrew:
Thank you for adding encryption. I started this thread and was surprised at some of the discussion along the way. This feature clearly separates from your main competition. Keep up the great work!
Thank you.

Just what I wanted - an excellent addition to Syncdocs!

We have discovered a bug in Syncdocs encryption on these special circumstances.
1. PC1 encrypts a folder.
2. PC2 is pre-loaded with the same data as PC1, but not using Syncdocs, say by a normal network file copy.
3. PC2 then installs Syncdocs and sets automatic encrypted folder detection.
4. PC2 fails to see the existing folder as encrypted. It is now fixed and will be released in the next beta.
