I read through the link here: http://www.syncdocs.com/2013/06/ignoring-certain-file-types-when-syncing-to-google-drive/
and I was able to stop SyncDocs from syncing temp (.tmp) files which were causing a large number of 403 Forbidden Errors and preventing our initial sync from completing. After that, SyncDocs began getting 403 Forbidden errors on .gform file types for some reason, and even though I set it to ignore that file type it continued to try and download those files. None of those were critical, so I simply deleted all my .gform files from my local machine and Drive. That was a little unfortunate still though, since they were useful for collecting information.
Now however, SyncDocs is hanging on what appear to be file locks that were somehow synced between Drive and our local machine. The file prefix is ~$ and I would like to ignore all of these. There only appears to be a way to ignore specific files and file extensions however. Is there a way to use the FileAndFolderNamesToIgnore section with a wildcard like ~$* or a regex?
We have been trying to complete this initial sync for quite some time now, and these various failures are starting to become a serious issue for us.
