Google has increased the maximum file size that it supports from 10GB to 1TB.
Syncdocs currently limits the maximum file size to the previous 10GB limit. We will increase this to 1TB in the next release after testing.
In the meantime, if you wish to upload files bigger that 10GB, you can edit the configuration file to change this. The settings are stored in the file appsettings.xml which is typically in the folder c:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Syncdocs\
To change the max file size settings.
1. Exit Syncdocs.
2. You can edit the appsettings.xml file in Notepad or any other text editor.
3. Edit the field MaxGFileSize from 10240000000 to 1000000000000 (add two zeros to the end, replace 24 with 00)
4. Re-run it Syncdocs.
This will set the size to 1TB.
Technical note: We're not sure on Google's definition of a TB (TB vs a TiB) so we've rounded down to the closest power of ten.
