Thanks, Dan, we'll look at Bad-behavior, as our current anti-spam product is not working so well anymore.

Sorry about all the spam - its actually human generated now. We've added bad behavior and spam-hammer to our protection, so it should improve now.

Andrew, this spam issue sucks and clutters your rss feed. May be you still need to fine tune bad behavior, have a deeper look into your spam logs, or join Project Honey Pot. Once your site has a certain visibility, page rank, you attract spammers quite naturally. ... Spam means your site has value ;)

Dan, my apologies, this spam is frustrating, especially on rss. We've added a few plugins and tools that are reducing the spam.

Today's attack was from a member who registered a few weeks back, posted from a good IP, and just posted copied news articles without links, so got through the filters.

That said, we're still fine tuning things and have also just enabled Project Honey Pot, thanks for the tip.
