We currently have a user with syncdocs in conjunction with Google Drive to backup. They have noticed recently, that everytime a file is saved, it is appending a version number to the file, as would happen if you download the same file multiple times. Additionally, some files will append the filename with "[Confilct]". This will add multiple times to the same file. Such as: [Conflict][Conflict]...etc...each time you save the file. Now when you look into the google drive account linked to syncdocs, it is telling us that there are a number of files that are unsyncable. Could this be a conflicting problem with syncdocs and google drive?
File naming in conjunction with Google Drive(3 posts) (2 voices)
These numbers and [conflict] are added by the Google Drive client, not by Syncdocs. It is not recommended that you run Google's Google Drive client and Syncdocs at the same time on the same folders, as this can cause this issue.
Where do you see the unsyncable warning, in a web browser?
Thanks Andrew. Yes the machine is running the google drive client as well as the syncdocs client. The usyncable warning is in the browser yes.
