I have a very large Google Drive and so I anticipate that my initial sync may take considerable time even though almost all the files have already been downloaded. However, I haven't yet completed an initial sync because Syncdocs has crashed twice, without any specific message as to the reason. I uninstalled and re-installed but I can see that doing so didn't clear Preferences. I've re-started the initial sync and will let it percolate while I'm away today.
I have seen some error messages in the log file. However, these don't pertain to the crash and so I'm presently considering them a separate issue, for later troubleshooting and resolution. For instance:
11/4/2013 9:25:33 AM(ver. 5.60) Upload from: E:\GD\GitHub\pyBGG\pyBGG.py
Google access denied. You may not have rights to upload to this shared folder.
Upload prevented skipped - folder mismatch System.Exception : sd criticality=-1
Google access denied. You may not have rights to upload to this shared folder.
The reason for an upload error is not obvious to me. I can't understand why access would be denied, as I am the owner of the GitHub G Drive folder.
Is there any other troubleshooting step or process I should follow?
Thanks!
