I am using Syncdocs 5.92 on Windows 8.1. I am currently uploading to drive about 250k files and 50k folders totalling ~300GB, and it is kinda slow. Many of them (~90k) are small files (1-50KB) and it takes about one second to upload each file. I know this might be related to the API itself but there is no harm to ask if anything can be done to improve it.
And for big files (100-2000MB) Syncdocs uploads files kinda slow. I am getting an average upload speed of 1.5MB/s, while the Drive web client uploads at an average of 10MB/s.
Also, it takes about 10 minutes to initialize, query google docs (very, very slow, it takes about 3 seconds to increment by 1%) and process local changes.
I have 200Mb/s synchronous connection, using a desktop PC with high performance HDDs on RAID, Pentium at 3Ghz and 16GB RAM so that is not the issue.
Note: Since I am doing a kinda complicated sync setup, having the "allow duplicate file names" disabled is critical, and I found in the log that Syncdocs does a "slow" sync due to that (understandably).
Any advice? Thanks!
