A couple of issues (version 0.49):
- Application does not seem to follow local folder move actions: if a folder is moved, Syncdocs deletes it from GD and then re-uploads it to the new location - instead of just moving (re-labelling) it on GD. This can be an unnecessary waste of time/bandwidth with larger folders. I know that other software (Syncplicity, Dropbox, Live Mesh) work correctly, albeit with different cloud storage.
- Local folders sometimes get duplicated (together with contents) in GD when synced. Happened once, no apparent reason.
- Extended character sets in filenames sometimes get copied with incorrect encoding, resulting in "weird" filenames in GD; files then get multiplicated (loop, up to 20 copies of the same file).
- "Do not convert to Google Docs format" does not stay checked after login error even on 0.49.
Thanks for an otherwise fantastic application!!!

Thank you for the detailed reports.
- We're working on reliable folder move mirroring. We agree our approach is slow, but reliable.
- Please send a sample of the extended character set filename that causes the looping so we can fix it. You can send it via this page:

- We're working on fix those few remaining login errors.Posted 6 years ago # -
Your last two points, extended characters and "do not convert..." are now fixed in 0.50 Syncdocs.
Please let us know if you see duplicates again.Posted 6 years ago #
