From what I read, Syncdocs is not supposed to sync hidden files or folders. For some reason I find that Syncdocs IS syncing hidden files and folders in my installation. I use a document management program called ScanSnap Organizer and it creates hidden folders called .organizer that contain .ini and .jpg thumbnail files. All of the files created by Organizer being with ! (e.g., !sampledocument.jpg and !sampledocument.ini) These files are not visible in Windows explorer, but they are still being uploaded to my Google Docs account. I am using the latest version of Syncdocs. Is this a bug or do I just have some setting that's off. Thank you for your help.

The hidden folder problem is a bug we introduced (in error) three weeks ago, but will be fixed in the next release.
Hidden files should not be synced. You can check the value of "<ShowHiddenFiles>" is false in the config file:
"c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Syncdocs\username@gmail.com\appsettings.xml"Posted 14 years ago # -
I checked the value in appsettings.xml and it says:
<ShowHiddenFiles>false</ShowHiddenFiles>
Should I change anything on this line? Thank you.

OK - we'll see why that doesn't work on Linux, and hopefully fix it.
